i must say this was our first time filming a “man-date”. what a fun experience, the camaraderie between the guys was evident. i had an opportunity to spend time with the bridesmaids a few months ago, and now the boys. i’m looking forward to the wedding in St. Thomas. with these guys there, it should be one to remember. -e

from the groom:
“I wanted to get all my groomsmen together for a ‘man’-tastic ‘man’-date and luckily the ‘stars and stripes’ were all aligned for a perfect weekend to do it. It just so happened to be 4th of July weekend, my buddy Paul was coming back into town, and my other buddy Joe had been wanting to dust off his jet skis and break them in for the summer. With a cooler full of chicken wings and beer (what more does a guy need?) we were off to the beach for some fun in the sun. Eric and Aranya were gracious enough to come along and film the guys getting wet and wild. I just wanted to say ‘Thanks’ to all the guys for being good sports and to Eric and Aranya for EVERYTHING! You guys are truly amazing and talented.” -Mike

we had an opportunity to work with “The Faze Band” at two events now. these guys are so easy to work with, and boy, do they get the crowed going! not only are they an AWESOME band, but Mark and his crew are extremely nice. we are always looking forward to working with this band.

“We play a wide variety of styles, all the classics from 40′s, 50′s and 60′s party tunes, Motown and 70′s disco hits to 80′s retro wave (checkout our Huge songlist). Songs that everyone will know and love to dance to! We like to keep it classy and fun, we play song to song with little or no pause to keep the dance floor jumping and your event moving.” – The Faze Band

call Mark and book them for your next event.

this was a special wedding to me for 3 reasons. 1) it was my best friend wedding who i had known for 7 years (now), 2) i was the maid of honor, and 3) i was actually attending as a the bridal party/guest instead of a vendor. it’s a whole different ball game when you’re on the other side.

nan and i quickly became close friends throughout our college years at the university of north florida (unf). we had a few classes together, attended a couple of college baseball games, dined out, and the rest was history. when i heard the news that she wanted me as her moh, i was filled with joy. i had never been a moh before, nor did i really know the importance of the role. but i quickly did my research, and though it was hard for me to be there physically for her, because i was in orlando and she was in jax, i tried my best to see her on weekends that i was available. one of the best part of planning the events was when we went down to miami for the weekend for her bachelorette party. another event that was fun was her bridal shower. her brothers were so funny they made it very entertaining with the games we played. but the most touching part of it all was my speech at the reception. it’s hard not to get emotional when you’re expressing your deepest feelings and reliving some of the fondest memories together. i was blessed to have my wonderful bf capture the entire wedding on film (as a guest also!) shooting with only one camera and one lens, no dolly.. no steadicam.

congratulations nan & peter! we love you both.

when tricia came to me a month ago and asked if we could surprise jon with a Same Day Edit, eric and i were so excited to take on this request. we couldn’t have been any more excited to grant her this wish!

just one week before the wedding day, we met with the two at tricia’s home in orlando to “interview” them. the concept was to capture the story of how jon and tricia met and merge the storyline with the actual wedding day event. this was to be presented during the reception. the challenge (not really!) was to keep it a secret from jon.

what our team and i loved most about this wedding party is how the family opened up their home and made us all feel fully welcomed. it made our job seem like a playday instead of work. the entire day went on smoothly, everyone was calm and collect, and even had some time to mingle and laugh with one another.

the greatest moment of all for us was unveiling our full day’s worth of hard work, and planning, running around the room up and down the hotel, dumping footages, and checking camera images to the bride and groom along with 150 of their guests in the ball room of the Omni Hotel. it was definitely a challenge to be in many different locations at the same time. but with an awesome team that we have, all things were made possible.

as for a bride who has spent many months planning for her wedding day, i can’t imagine anything better than to be able to see her own creation come to life in one night.
